It's interesting that the new Terminator Premium Format is in-line with the average sales price for the original Terminator PF. This is based on historical sales we've recorded for the original Terminator Premium Format figure, which have been in low to mid-$300's.
It'll be interesting to see how the pricing of the original changes with the release of this new Terminator PF. Will the new inventory of Terminator PFs cause the price to drop further down? Or will it have the opposite effect by creating demand with collectors that would want both the original and new Terminator PFs?

the original terminator has set it's benchmark. if that level was much higher than the cost of the new terminator, then you'd see the price come down because most people will seek the cheaper alternative in the new version. being that they're both around the same price, i predict the cost will remain around the same. some people will like the original better, some the newer.
And with Aragorn, Jack Sparrow, and others, its hard for me to pre-purchase knowing it might not arrive looking anywhere near the same as the pics
great point. sideshow often pulls a bait and switch with likeness, accessories, and materials. just because it looks great now, doesn't mean that's what the finished product will look like. a great thing about bowen statues is when you order one, you can just about be guaranteed the pictures posted on the sales page will look like the statue released.

its my biggest concern with SS. I've been disappointed with likeness changes (and major ones) and QC far too much
Got mine today and have to say it is a great piece. Head sculpt is exceptional, the likeness is spot on. The leather jacket and pants are so film accurate. Very happy with this figure......T2 sculpt no where near as accurate check out the size of Arnies head.
