Al, do you have any way of finding out specifically what the base itself measures? Not knowing where I can put this behemoth is holding me back from buying.

I'm thinking the dimensions on Sideshow's site must refer to the total span of his arms and not the base.

Please for the love of god give us a decent modern Fantastic Four!!!

Wish list for new Bowen sculpts (all full size):
1) KANG the Conqueror!, 2) Ronan the Accuser, 3) Hobgoblin, 4) Green Goblin, 5) 80's Cyclops, 6) Baron Zemo

Do you have a spare regular hand for the Bowen Apocalypse FS? If so, PM me please!

I´m on the fence. Its such a great piece, but also a space eating monster. I have not a clue where to put him, but I know this is "THE" Galactus. I imagine how it will look like between my Bowens.

I see what you did there.

This thing is huge... I mean what other fruit could it hold?? I'm going to paint a racquet ball to look like the earth and have him hold it. I've always wanted a true giant Galactus though. I wish Randy would release a giant Galactus, that would be incredible.

I'm also going to have to get a second job to pay for all of these statues

Well, I wrote Sideshow to ask them about the dimensions of the base itself. The response:

The width of the base for the Galactus Maquette will be 16 inches which will be the widest portion of the statue as well. Please let me know if you need any other information.

As always, please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
What exactly that means is still open to interpretation (eg., 16" from the flat sides, or 16" from the angled edges of the base).

This looks cool but that price tag for this one is steep for me.

Wow, this look's outstanding, Great detail, even though it's a little? over-detailed, but still fantastic, price is a little scary, if I wasn't buying so many BD's FS's I missed year's ago I'd be on this, but to much spent there and to much on pre-order from BD.

Actually never bought anything from SS, just BD item's, don't know how this would fit into that "community", also have the BD MB and FS Galactus, will love to see these side-by-side in the future?

Actually would prefer it to be BIGGER, I know it's unrealistic, but maybe they could make Galactus in section's then you could build your own, and stop at certain point's along the way, like just a bust, then a torso, and then the arm's, and then the whole statue?

The line of products is becoming more & more interesting all the time. This Galactus is awesome & now that they've started their run with DC...it's hard to hold back. But again like many, their prices are just so high in comparison to Bowen or Koto, I think I'll admire them from afar. Unless, they start a 1/6 scale and it's just a bit higher priced, yup I'll pass.

I wish there was a pic with something else in the shot for size comparison, than a G-damn apple, wtf is with that anyhow, apples can be any G-Damn size?

Sorry, but for the price they should have a viable comparison statue in the pic's.

Maybe I missed it?

Even a baseball, or something we all know the size of, cue ball, or something, G-Dammit, an apple, really, there size is all over the place.............? no wonder I never bought anything from this Co.

Have some BD's FS's to sell if they go I'll get this behemoth, I checked the heigth compared to the BD Galactus, and it's not overwhelming but it's gonna be huge comparedto anything else, and where to put it?
