i started collecting ss in 2005. there is a glaring rise in costs as of the past two years that have left me shaking my head, but i believe ss is trying to grab a piece of the secondary market pie by charging more from the beginning. for this reason, the joker will be the last statue i ever receive from ss. it's almost reached the point of laughable, but then i see other manufacturers testing the waters as to justify the time it took to develop the statue. all well and good however that should of been a factor before ever deciding to make the statue. knowing what you will have to charge should keep a manufacturer from making a statue because he'd know his profits will be limited even though he's charging more. but to what end? will a manufacturer start charging because a more skilled hand painter needed to paint a belt without going outside the lines? it's like a car dealer justifying every little difference between one model and another to justify the higher price.

Costs of PF line?
, so its pretty cool to see this getting made. Now the price tag I'm not to cool with. I don't remember if it was oddball or past thread but mentioned SS was getting slick with little by little upping the prices on the PF's. If it wasn't Oddball or whoever this isn't a bash or anything of that sort. I'm on post right and was bored checking out the pictures and it's pretty cool looking the details are pretty amazing better than my Kotobukiya one but that's another story. As I started collecting the PF line it was around the $270 Range , my Baroness PF ex is in the $350 range minus shipping, and now Master Chief is in the $400 range. 
. Is this something we should be expecting prices to come up? I mean Batman PF is $400 as well. Thoughts on the rising costs? I started collecting early last year, was the PF line cheaper prior to 2010 or it depended on the line?
