When the last Godzilla movie came out, (with Matthew Broderick), I was devasted...

I'm hoping that they get not only the CLASSIC Godzilla back into the fold, but amp up the destruction and make it a real SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER...!

My oldest son and I went to see the Broderick Godzilla. We were pumped up to see it. That's all we knew about it, just a new Godzilla movie, no spoilers, sneak peaks, nothing. We were so bummed out. Hope this new one will not disappoint.

yeah this new film better hold up to the hype thats being pumped out.
i remember last time they hyped up the 98 film. what a disaster.

It is Legendary Picture and their CG is really good, but all the leaving, rewriting and changes scare me.

The only thing I remember about the '98 disaster:

"Here lizard lizard..."

If they follow the recipe of every other Godzilla movie ever made they should be fine. But the "gritty realistic" comment reeks of Cloverfield crap.
