Default Heroes World Update

Whew!! We have been slammed since opening and I have had ZERO time to even read SM much less post.....Now that school has started back I have about one month to do some catching up.....starting in mid september, the space next to us in the mall is opening the LARGEST haunted house in TEXAS!!! We'll be even more swamped all through the Holidays

I think in these pics you'll see we've REALLY taken things to another level

Huh?

I'm very impressed by what you've done, especially in this economy. You should be very proud. If I lived anywhere near Texas, I'd be at your store every week.

Still wondering what your comment meant...

Thanks Al.....I simply meant that there doesn't seem to be many posts in this section.....
I'm not a comic shop owner who decided to post on SM to help my business....I am a SM member who got divinely inspired to create an incredible store and share it with my SM friends.....and how many people actually show enthusiasm about it??? doesn't seem like many.....to accomplish what we've done in 5 months is amazing, and I would dare say there is NO store in the entire Houston area that compares.....

Hey Now, I am all about what you have going on. Glad to hear that business is going great.

To put it bluntly, there really arent very many stores that are worth posting. So many shop owners are so lazy it is pathetic. None have any sort of business sense. I am glad that there is ONE store out there that is trying to do something different.

The Cave store with a$$ holes and poor lighting should be a thing of the past by now, but it is more the norm then a store that actually gives a rip.

Keep us posted please!

I understand your frustration. I really do. Unfortunately, most people choose to navigate Statue Marvels via "New Posts." If you are not continually posting new info in your thread, as Randy does in the Bowen Section, you aren't going to get noticed. That's why he's been so successful on Statue Marvels, while other producers have not been.

Believe me, I'd love to get rid of the New Posts feature, but I've been overwhelmingly out voted.

See? The New Posts feature kills it for anyone not posting a lot.

I actually don't use the "New Posts" feature, I just try to visit regular haunts and I should stop in this section more. You have a great looking store Grendel, I love the space and selection, but you shoot some shots of the statue section?

You really did a great job with this place. It looks like your utilized the space you had perfectly.

It doesn't look like your typical dingy, dungeon comic shop.

To bad, however, I still look around and check all the posts.

But this is about the shop...which looks great, huge and organized!

gotta set a standard level of expectations right upfront We love kids, but we're in a mall where a large majority of traffic are parents who are ignorant to the care of comics and collectibles....add 3 & 4 year olds on the loose and trouble is bound to happen ....we simply have to give them LOTS of encouragement to be respectful and to secure the young ones
