I don't know how many times I get emails asking what it would cost to ship to Brazil, Australia, Canada and so on when it states right there in my auction that I do not ship outside the United States. It's really starting to annoy me.
TodayI had a guy buy something of mine and I looked at his feedback and it was 0, well my auction also states that if you have below 10 feedback rating you need to contact me first or I will cancel your bid. So what's he do, he bids and I cancel it. Then he bids again and wins it AND has an unconfirmed address. My auction also states that you must be confirmed. I don't even want to sell the damn thing to him because he can't take time to read. Do you guys get these kinds of things? I'm just venting cause it's seriously starting to make me mad and I want to go off on one of them lol.
and then you risk him getting mad and leaving negative feedback
Contact ebay. Your auction clearly states no international shipping and no bidders with feedback under 10 unless approved by the seller. Let them know you cancelled his bid once already and his winning bid also needs to be cancelled since it is not compliant with the clearly stated auction rules.
As for international buyers...I sell somethings here and there and I end up doing alot oversees. As long as you use USPS and insure everything completely then it should not be a problem. I have been very lucky with oversees buyers.
Does the buyer live in the states? If so, you are screwed if he has paid. I had the EXACT, EXACT same thing happen when I sold my Bowen Deadpool a few days ago; person with 0 feedback won and instantly paid even though I said no bidders with under 5 feedback.
To make matters worse, the person opened their eBay account THAT DAY. I emailed Paypal and ebay (ebay never responded) about my options and I was told that since the person paid "in a timely manner," I must either send the product within 7 days, or refund the money and then try to get the other person to jointly cancel the auction. I figured that wouldn't happen and would just piss the person off and leave me negative. eBay REALLY needs to have a setting to allow us to block 0-feedback bidders.
Paypal "seller protection" is a complete joke, so I bought complete insurance and signature required for the package. Now I am just sweating bullets that I am going to get bent over a barrel and be out the statue and the money (although I did withdraw the money).

I think the only thing you can block is a feedback of 5 and below. I'm getting over eBay more and more each day anyways so for the most part I'm pretty much done selling, I may still buy some things though.

Ok, I have checked the "bidder requirements" and I can't figure out how to set it up to block. The only thing I see is the section on how many items they are winning.
I agree that the ebay/paypal fees/risk completely sucks, and I want to be done selling on eBay, but it really is the most efficient place to sell hobby type stuff. I am probably going to be selling my Bowen Juggs, Apoc, Sinister, and Archangel soonish and the sad truth is that eBay is the best place to sell if you want exposure.

I’ll go you one better - whether it’s eBay or here. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have people asking me what it would cost to ship to them (outside the US), spending the time tracking down the information and forwarding it back to them only to see them disappear. It’s been a totally wasted effort in about 3/4 (or more) of the situations.
what would you guys do if you bought statues from ebay seller "oscareniel123"
then his ebay account becomes unregistered..and then it registers again and now he has no more items for sale?
Guys, first of all, I have no idea why you wouldn't want to sell to a person outside US. We internationals have so few options. And it will get you a better price, the more bidders, the better for the seller. Sure, there are rotten people out there. I have negative feedback from a guy that never paid (cause I'm too trusting sometimes.) He had the f**king nerve to not pay and then leave negative feedback. Can you beat that? Never mind. Mostly people pay and are decent. My philosophy is, if I'm decent, chance are people will be decent to me as well.
I can't see the problem in shipping overseas. You can charge a little extra for the handling (if you're a c*nt) and you, as stated above, have more potentials bidders. When selling on an auction, don't you want as many people as possible bidding? And trust me, our international money CAN be exchanged into good US dollars. You're losing out if you excluding the international sellers.
Oh, and if you have statues to sell, please post them here first, cause lots of us internationals really want a shot at it, and I'm always looking for something here (like that archangel?)

I do and I have a lot of people asking me to ship to other places but I find it hard enough to find time to go to the post office right now as it is and then I have to fill out that paperwork (lazy on my behalf there lol) I feel bad for telling them no and I have nothing against it, it's just a time thing I guess. I have shipped a few things overseas and the Michael Turner Soulfire Grace Statue was one of them and the buyer paid $800 for her and she made it just fine and everything went fine, so I know it's not bad.
