Well, I've been promising for some time to post some shots of my collection room. I'm pretty lucky to have a place like this. The entire finished basement is my retreat. It's a great place to spend some time after the stress of life. I'll post more shots over the coming days and weeks. Enjoy!
Let's head down to the basement -
There are pictures on the wall all the way down. I will add shots later.
Turn the corner and you know immediately this is NOT a regular room.
This is a larger "L shaped" space and it is full! Even over the fireplace!
For those of you interested, the corner is my display area for my Aurora Prehistoric Scenes models from the 1971 -1972 timeframe. You can follow my restoration work at the Prehistoric Scenes Project in the other section of the forum.
This is an amazing display! Just great. Nice clean , organized, great art prints/ posters. Congrats man i need a basement now ! Take the swartacave becoming 2.0 upgrade lol
Superb!! You've really solved the problem of displaying taller statues with all the options the different bookcases and curios give you.
Nicely put together indeed.
Where'd you get the beautifully framed Alex Ross JLA pic?
Is that an expensive signed litho/giclee or something cheaper that's just very tastefully framed?
Great organization! The xmen shelf is great! Where is that clear vision bust from?
Thanks! Picked the Vision bust up off of eBay a short while back. There was a seller out there who said there were a limited number made (not by Bowen). Thought it was cool so I nabbed it.

Thanks for the compliment. I've still got some work to do to get it a little more uniform from a shelving perspective.
The JLA is an original signed litho from the Warner Brothers store. Bought it years ago. Just love it.
WOW! Dude this is amazing!! All of us wish we could have a man cave like this!

Thanks for looking. Hard to believe this place was hit by a flood last year when a water pipe broke, huh? No statues were damaged, but it prompted a lot of rework.
Love the collection. Knew I was going to love it as soon as I saw the opening pic of the Space Ghost litho!
I can only dream of having a basement all to myself...just don't have 'em around here. I could certainly use the room to spread out, but moreso so I could actually have more wall space for prints/art.
