Voltron was "after my time", but I'm hoping that Toynami redoes the Shoguns that are from my childhood in the 70s.

I like it, I use to watch Voltron when I was in Highschool. Seeing that Voltron wasn't part of the original Shogun Warriors line I wonder why they chose to relaunch it with him and not Great Mazinger.

And I'm too old for Voltron, but I grew up with Shogun Warriors.
I remember wanting to like Voltron, but after the experience that was Star Blazers, Voltron seemed kinda "kiddie" to me. I don't know how to explain, but growing up in the 70s, the cartoons & kid shows seemed more edgy to me compared to what came out in the 80s. I don't mean to offend anyone. It's just my perspective. I think the TV watchdogs started coming down on the networks & that resulted in "safer" children's entertainment.
