I am planning on going to the ECC 2013 this year and would really like to meet up with some fellow collectors.
I know that this is 7 months away and plans can change, but it would still be kinda cool to see how many of us would be able to meet up and have a good time.
My big goal is to get as many creators as I can to sign and sketch on my various Bowen peices.
I also am planning on attempting to get a Patrick Stewart autograph on a Bowen Professor X statue and a custom piece of artwork
I'm seriously thinking about going. It's about a 300 mile road trip over some big mountains. I am not big on crowds, they make me nervous. I would probably travel one day, hotel it overnight, go to the con the next day, stay another night and drive back home. I have to check the dates. If it is in the Spring, mountain passes may be closed due to snow/weather though.
Friend and I are talking about flying down for it since SDCC looks like you'll need the luck of the irish to get in. Ive driven through and had lay-overs in Washington but have never got to do the touristy stuff so Im pretty psyched.
Seattle is a great and I have heard some good things about the con.
I have a buddy that lives in Seattle who can probably give me some good tips of bars to visit.
I'm from Seattle. Live in CT now.
Bars?! Hell, my best friend is a beer rep there. If you need suggestions, let me know.
ECCC is getting bigger and better every year. Some pretty big names going in 2013.
I'm hoping to fly "home" to attend.
I recommend you go. Great city. Decent weather. March will be cloudy but nice.

I am kind of surprised how big it is getting too. I went last year (mised this year) and had a good time. I sure hope I can make it next year.
