So, I have stuff on Ebay now to help create funds for dog meds and vet follow up. Not going to list the auctions here as it would seem a bit hoky to do so.
I'll be listing lots of non-bowen stuff in the coming weeks so that I can create funds for an additional display case and to get going on modifying the ones that I corrently have.
No statue buying for me other than what is on order from Bowen and Sideshow.

I got NOTHING done in my room last weekend.
Kids have been getting 100% of any and all free time lately as has the wife.
No work on the cases, no work on the VS. base.
Nada.

Well, not my first broken promise of the year. Family has been my primary focus lately and as of Monday I have been studying personal income tax for my MS, CFP - joy of joys.
The goals are still the same. Grab a new case, pic off some stuff that I want, and have fun doing it. Hope to get something for my BD coming up in a few months.
Maybe pics later this weekend, and maybe not. Makes for a boring blog I know, but I cant do it all.
I am still looking at getting some power tools before year end and still plan on creating some custom displays. No more planned MS courses after October which means I will be able to focus on the getting ready for the Portland Comic Book Show in November.
19 days since my last post and a lot has happened.
My daughter graduated from Kindergarten - she turned 6 as well.
I am pulling a 94% in my tax class (yeah) and my wife and I have been contemplating moving.....ugh.
Dogs are doing ok, but the process to find them a new home has also started. Not happy about it at all, but it is better for them in the long run than being stuck in the laundry room for another two years
I do have some new items I need to post pictures of and I am really looking forward to getting the Surtur bust. He is going to look great with my Asgardian villains display I want to build. Wish I knew he was coming out before hand, I never would have sold Ulik!

I moved some things around on my account and wasnt sure what would get all messed up if I did - guess I know the answer now.
Anyhow, still no pics, blah blah blah, school, blah blah, work, blah blah blah.
I did end up picking up my very first SS GI Joe Hot Toys - we all have Oddball and Darth Aidan to thank for this.
It's the Exclusive Lt. Falcon Green Beret version. I am also going to be putting in an order for a Cobra Officer and Rock N' Roll in the coming weeks.
I have to say that I was VERY VERY tempted to order the PF Batman and Superman, but just cant get over the $400 price tag. Yep, I know that they will triple in price (double at least) but $400 is a lot of money to spend when I have a business I want to start and other collections I want to finish.
Such is life eh?
What I have new coming from Bowen isnt much. Surtur, Eternity, Avalanch, Strong Guy - yep, nothing but busts.
Still havent been able to save enough for a Thor Classic or Painted Surfer, but know that will come eventually.....eventually is now my most used word when referring to my collection - lol.
I have been messing around with photobucket and hence have lost some pics - as noted above - sorry about that. I do plan on replacing the missing pics with better ones in the weeks to come.

Really wanted to get the new DC PF stuff, but $400 for a new statue was a bit too much for me to swallow at this time. Especially if I am not the biggest fan of the characters that they have coming out.
To finish the Palisades line I need to get the Snake Eyes MS, the Cobra Commander FS, and the Baroness Red Team Cobra bust.
For the carded Joes I plan on collecting Series 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9. I will not be chasing down the Night Force guys. Never owned them as a kid so dont need them now. Really, the only team that I really want to complete is the Battle Force 2000 squad.
The Hot Toys 12" is a new thing for me. Just picked off the Falcon and want to get as many as I can. I have the new 12" Snake Eyes Excl. edition on order as well - yeah Flex-Pay.
