Here is the home of my Joe display in progress. Qubes 1 - 3 is all Palisades stuff. Qubes 4 - 6 is going to be the 12" figures.
The bottom six qubes will be for the statue series. I am going to have to take out shelves to add Storm Shadow, and I hope for more full size Joe stuff to fill up the other two slots.
On the wall above it I am going to frame a series of Joe puzzles that fit together. Should look pretty cool when I am done I think.
Well shoot you have more gi Joe palisades stuff then I do. I see in the back of the picture all the transformers busts. I want to pick up the omega supreme statue and of course the palisades devastator statue
Got in the Desert Commander and Crimson Guard 12" last night and just set them up.
Love the 12" line. Thanks for getting me hooked bro.
Also got in Thunderbird.
Pics later this evening. Getting the kids ready for bed soon.

WOW - Over a month to give an update.
Dang.
Well, work is doing great and I am just waiting for after the holidays so that I can get some stuff.
I do have Avg. Captain A coming in this month and hope to get Eternity in the coming weeks.
Best to all.

MTG Bowen Shivan Dragon
Bowen Phone Bone & Red Dragon
Also got some SS 12" Joe stuff.
It was a good day today. Hope everyone else can say the same.
No pictures yet, but I thought that I would do a quick year in review.
One thing that happened to me this year was that I rekindled my fondness for Magic the Gathering. I am by no means a good player - actually I suck at it - but the LCS in Washougal has a very friendly atmosphere and the players there know how to have a good time.
So like any other collector I have been creating complete sets by purchasing boxes of cards. Granted I probably have more cards that I will ever need, but it is fun to collect something different and relaxing. I love just being able to sit down and sort through the stuff that I have and create lists of the things that I want or need to complete my sets.
As for statues - well.......
I am going to start off by saying that I have been very happy with what I have been seeing from Bowen Designs and Sideshow. Bowen has made a lot of great things and there are plenty of statues that I would still love to get.
Chances are I am going to get the Bowen Batman this year - I have already started saving for it.
But other than that ONE statue, I am not really craving anything else. Which means that I am going to spend some time and money finishing up my collection room. I am going to build my next case and put glass shelves and lighting in my other cases.
There are still some Sideshow and Bowen things that I have on pre-order, but other than those there is nothing else that I am looking for and really want to get.
I am going to get rid of my DC Maquette collection as the paint aps on the JLA are horrid. I have no received 2 Aquaman statues with bad paint jobs and honestly, DCD statues look like toys compared to the SS goodness that has been coming out lately. Not to mention I want a display case for my 80's action figures collection
2012 was another year of soul searching and I truly enjoyed every day of it.
Who knows, maybe there is something bronze in my future....only time will tell.
One of my life goals was to have my giant Marvel Universe poster signed by Stan Lee. I have had the poster framed for about 10 years. I have never taken it out of its frame until a few days ago in preparation for Wizard World Portland.
After taking the poster out of its frame I discovered, to my horror, that the framing company had glued the mat to the picture....needless to say I was devastated. I was so upset that I almost decided not to take the picture...lucky for me, my wife talked me back into fulfilling my dream.
She told me that the poster is for me to enjoy, and no one else. So do with it as I see fit. So I did just that. I decided that I would have the poster personalized to my liking.
Randy Emberlin added Venom:
Val Mayerik added Howard the Duck:
Carlos Pacheco added Stan 'The Man' Lee:
Kurt Busiek & Chris Claremon added their names to the poster:
And, of course, Stan Lee added his Signature as well:
Just got off the phone with a frame shop in Beaverton that is a mom/pop and has been doing frame work for years.
They would be willing to look at my poster and give me an idea of what it would take to 'fix' things. He was surprised when I told him what the previous store had done to it.
But hey, I am happy to have such a great peice of art.
More statues to come in the coming months and days.
Picked up two more tall glass casses (the ones with the front sliding doors) for $45 each. That gives me 5 of them now for my room. Going to move the big tv down to the bedroom and then place all 6 of my deltofs in a row on that back wall.
May not end up getting that second custom case and may go with a smaller BESTA case instead. I'll just spray paint the metal door frames black or something.
