I have a number of items in my collection that came with certificates: numbered, signed, or both. I had them all together. I can't find them at all. It's been a few days of searching. It may be that they were accidentally thrown away?
It's paper, in the big scheme of things, is it that important? However, my goal was to have my sons get the collection when I die. I've got the boxes, and try to keep everything. It's a nice thing to have.
I am upset at myself. I suck. I'll keep looking, but these things would have been in the house, where they would have been safe. In a large yellow envelop. I'll just stand here, bent over, anyone that feels like kicking my butt, go ahead.
I hope you find them. It would be nice if you get that "all of a sudden" bolt that you remember where you might have stashed it saying "I'll put it here so I never forget where they are."
Trust me.....I've done the same thing!
I'd kick my own ass if I could. Rare for me to give up, but I do. Still upset with myself, but I have torn up the place looking with no success. I'm going to go sit in the corner, pout, and hold my breath till I pass out. Just like herpes, I'll be back, later, without the certificates.
Stop looking for them and you probably will find them at some time in the future, if they are still in your place. If they are not, then looking for them will just waste your time and frustrate you more.
I apologize for this thread. Today, of all days, it is an insignificant thing. It bothers me, but so much more than this is on my mind. I appreciate the help and advice. I am sorry.

Don't be sorry. Some of us that lost family need distractions from what has become an annual bout of depression.
I am wondering if there is a decent way to display them, not enough room to put them with each piece.
I have mine in a photo album; the kind where you peel back the clear plastic and the photo sticks to the page underneath. They're not really "displayed" but they're kept in neat order and are easy to flip through if I needed to.
