Default California Earthquakes and Statues

Hello everyone, (In particular the California residents)

When there's a constant danger of earthquakes, what do you do to safeguard your statues? Have you had any incidents or experiences you'd like to share with us? I can't even begin to imagine the fear I'd have if a minor tremor could crack or topple over any one of my precious

Hmmm i have a heavy drawer and a small fridge on each side of my detolf, so it will not move just in case of an earthquake. Im really scared for my statues plus i dont have insurance for em.

There was just a small earthquake that shook San Diego on Sunday...it wasn't felt at my home about 70 miles north. I've procrastinated on buying the earthquake putty Averone has recommended because my display changes almost weekly. I think he did mention it being easily removable though...? I just hope it doesn't take a real earthquake, that causes damage, to finally push me to purchase the putty after it's too late (knock on wood).

I have renters insurance from State Farm. While Renter's Insurance does not cover earthquakes, my agent told me I could get a special type of personal insurance that would protect my collection from any type of damage including earthquake. It only added about $4.00 a month to my bill. But you need to submit a complete list of what you want covered and it's also important to let them know the cost of replacing items. For instance, my Ultimate Captain America cost me around $177 from Bowen originally but now sellls for outrageous prices so the insurance company really needs to insure you for the replacement value of the statues.
