Not a huge fan of the dolphins either........looks like he's riding in for his 5:15pm show at Shamu Stadium at Sea World. A giant octopus or squid's tentacles would be better IMO

I would think Zeus for sure, as for the last, Hera? Hermes? Apollo? I don't know.

Hades? Are you sure? That would be interesting...He'd go well with the Angel of death who represents Charon, the ferryman who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers Styx...
I also suggested that ARH should do Hercules, the mightiest and most important of the heroes of Greek/Roman mythology and Arahom seems to fully agree

tHNKS for the reply Guys. Yea am sure that i have read somewhere that ARH is going for Hades. I bought Leonidas and Thor. Thor's cape and base was damaged but Arahom is going to replace them for me. Thor looks fantastic. My only concern is that all of these statues are taking a lot of space and with the Olympians coming ( i havent bought Athena), i dont have a clue where should i display them.Hercules?? mmm sounds gr8...oh God am gonna need a loan and a new room.........

Sorry not tryig to be mean but the dolphins are pretty cheesey.

I think you would've been better off eliminating the dolphins entirely and making the water much more violent similar to the Namor vs IronMan Sideshow diorama.

To each his own, but I agree with the artist, the dolphins are great.

We are sticking with the dolphins, there are elements here in play that will appeal to a wider audience.
One of the things that was great about the Medusa was that she was a mix of beauty and the beast. I understand it will not appeal to everyone, but thats not the intention.

Bezzerkerr, we are not making Marvel here.

I don not understand your question?
Just because we are not posting in our progress?
With the new license acquisition, for obvious reasons our strategy and resources are shifting, but do not worry we will not discontinue this line and will bring forth new statues in the years to come

What?!! Ares and Poseidon are now to be put off years? why would you produce things like the barbarian and queen of vampires when you have what would be much better sellers like Ares and Posiedon? That's crazy. I use those two because you don't need licenses for them (or didn't until conan) and don't for Ares and Posiedon.

No, I mean there must be some wip pics in the firsts posts of this thread which I cannot actually see. I just read a ton of discussion about dolphins and I cannot understand what all this talk is all about...where are these pics? I mean no new ones but the already posted ones

This is insane!!!

By the way the dolphins of ARH's concept are spot on! Poseidon's symbolic animals are horses, bulls and of course...dolphins! The mammals that also protect seamen. I don't know what other people mean by saying "dolphins" but we, Greeks, only mean the renown mammal. Actually the name "Dolphin" (the ancient Greek word to be precise) is connected with the word "Womb", a characteristic that I think only mammals have.

Whales, sea monsters, octopuses, sea snakes, Magneto Hulk or anything would be great for a random fantasy statue but not for an Olympian Poseidon depiction. ARH is spot on and this is a great Poseidon. It should stay that way.
