OMG Averone. Is this Hercules? Hades? I already have my eyes on Barbarian, Poseidon,Aries. and now this? I am more of mythology oriented, that is why i love ARH statues. Already bought Thor and Leonidas AP'S.I had to cancell a few SS statues cause of ARH . I think you are doing a wonderfull work. Probaply the best statues by far .My only complain Alex is the package. I mean i have received Vampirella Pf a few days ago, and i know you have as well. This is how you need to package ur statues, as is more secure. Thor arrived broken and Arh is fixing the cape and base for me. Moreover I dont buy from SS directly as i prefer the AP'S, and the shipping is cheaper from ARH. That is my only complain...Please tell me who is this Guy. If he is one of the Olympians , i will probaply buy him as well. Keep up the beautifull work

Ive said it many time before, we would very much like to be like Sideshow in many ways, but everyone keeps forgetting.....
We are a brand new company and a small company. Sideshow is HUGE!! They can do what they want and get much, much better deals with the factories than us. I wish you could see what struggles and tribulations ARH Studios had to go through to produce our first line!
Yes I hear you, I know the packaging was not the best. I even think you guys dont mind paying an extra $8-10 extra on the costs to have a SUPER, DUPER style packaging. I know I would be ok paying that as long as I know the statues are quality.
What I am showing you is quality and masterfully done art. And what you see is just a small sample. There are many things in the works and you will be very pleased. I can say in all confidence that our statues will be much better packaged but we have to negotiate. I thank you for your support.
BTW, I cant tell you what this is yet... but as soon as the website goes up we may show you.

I don't speak for ARH but I'm positive the packaging is the same. I ordered my Thor and Athena through SS to get the points and got the same styrofoam everyone else did. SS has nothing to do with packaging ARH or painting or sculpting as far as I know they are just a distributor for them and gives them a lot of exposure. But if I am wrong I'm sure Ave will corrct me

TeddyNovak THNKS for ur reply, u ve been very helpfull. I receved a damaged Thor ( base cape), Arahom will replace them. I didnt have the chance to get Athena. What do u think of her now that u have her in hand? Will u be buying any upcoming statues from Arh? Barbarian looks gr8, and probaply i will get him. The Olympian Gods look very promising too. Ares,Poseidon..

Ok here is how its going to go...
In the past, ARH did some productions in house (More like kits) that did not have the style of packaging/styro, your accustomed to from SS.
Our new productions (Im talking about all the brand new statues coming this year) from now on will be have the new packaging unless noted by Arahom. All SS sold, EX and non EX will have new styro. Arahom may yet do AP's, and they will be making them locally and not from factory in China, hence the style of Stryo may be different. We invested in a Styro cutting machine locally so we should be able to make stryo fit for the AP's now. However as before, if China makes them then they will all have the same sort of new style stryo.

You are correct. China factory are responsible for packaging.
This year I hope to see improvements all around.
It is our wish to have SS be our exclusive distributor. Only time will till.
Working with SS makes the whole thing much easier for us, then we can concentrate on art, and making it, and not get bogged down with distribution and packaging.

BTW, I think Teddy he was talking about the AP orders we used to do.
They were more like kits and did not have fitted stryo. It took us about a year to even get stryo. Then for the most part the styro was not liked so now we will upgrade it this year.
I just hope the costs are not super high, as we make way less than SS at one time.

I love my Athena.
RE upcoming statues I will for sure be getting all the Greek gods/godesses and a Valkyrie. Right now I am thinking clothed Valkyrie. I will also almost certainly be getting a Barbarian. I think I will be passing on Sparty, Dragons, and we'll see about the surprise....

i swear im going to chit my pants if this statue doesnt come out soon. Im going broke because of SS DC line.
What's the deal with this project? seems like its dead in the water.
Production is slowed down, we are still waiting for Sideshow to put up our pre orders from last July!
We will make this, rest assured, yet some resources had to be directed to our new license, Conan the Barbarian. We are now looking at 2013 for this statue.

I do not have much space left at home anymore and I have thought about getting Medusa. But since space is an issue and I like Ares as a character better than Medusa I decided to wait for the God of War.
I am happy to hear Ares will come down from Mount Olympus next year and I just cannot wait to see what Ares will look like when he is fully painted!
