ARH Angel of Death Statue AP list!

Its finally time for the Angel of Death!! This thread is basically directed to those interested in purchasing the Angel of Death AP statue, so if you are not an active participant in this discussion, I politely ask you to refrain from comments about our prices, method of payment, delivery time and conditions of this deal because this is an informative to those who have been waiting for this piece for a long time and not a board discussion about the way ARH conduct business!!

Said that, here is the situation:

The print of this piece is absurdly expensive, and this is the reason why we have postponed this piece for so long, but in order to get this piece printed and released now, we need to be sure we can sell at least 30 APs of this piece, so I’m creating this thread to check the interest of you in purchasing this piece.

Conditions:

Scale 1/4th

Price: $465

Shipping: It will vary from $65 to $100 by regular mail service for international buyers accordingly with their location!

We require a NRD of $150 on this purchase and balance upon delivery.

Date of shipping: End of October 2011 (expectancy)

ALL statues will ship in its final box with Styrofoam!

For those participating in the AP purchase we will open a board discussion about the paint scheme, so I’m open to suggestions, and I will follow the majority about this point. Also paint requests will be accepted in this particular case, so if you want your particular piece to be painted a little different, we will be able to accommodate it for you.

We will not collect any payment until we are sure that we have at least 30 interested buyers.

The AP will be limited to 50 pieces and will come signed by me. No other version of this piece will come signed.

That is one impressive and fantastic looking piece, Arahom. Unfortunately with back to school for the kids, I don't know if I'll be able to order one. Just a great looking piece of art. Congratulations, I'm sure it will sell quite well!

Great, so they'll still be a chance.

I love the fact that you can get a personal touch when it comes to the paints. That's a great perk of getting one of the APs. I'm still gonna try!

I'm really interested by this one, but I will wait the opening board discussion about the paint scheme because I don't want order a statue if there is a chance I will dislike colors.

It being our "In house statue AP" You will get options for colors!
We will experiment to see what colors work best. Gothic look will be best but we have a few other colors we like to try out with this one.

Real Interested but would like some color renderings to make up my mind a lot better. Still cant decide if I want black or white wings. Maybe one of each lol j/k but well hold out till more pic show up to pull the trigger.

So, which color will be the better choice for the wings of this figure ?

Personally, I think white or another color except black can be a good choice. Black is really too common for the wings of death, dark souls, spirits...

I would like to see some creativities in coloring. Like...the souls should be kind of transparent. The head, arms, and top half of the body is flesh color. Then from the bottom half of the body it should slowly fade to clear or transparent. Same as applied to the Angel of death's robe! From the body down it should slowly fade to transparent. The armor....this reminds me of the Witch King (From LOTR). Maybe it should that color too! Oh...maybe the armor is too new....should there be some rust color around the edges of the armor? What do you guys think?

The base should be flames engulfing the souls?

It sounds very good for me. I had a pretty similar idea about souls, in transparent or translucid resin it will be really nice.

Your ideas are really interesting. Same thing for the wings can be a good idea too (with some transparents parts).

Glad I am not the only one thinking like that. I think the souls should be mixed of transparent and flesh color....similar to the formation of Marbles or Jade. As for the wings, I think it got to be gray and black...maybe a few patches of white. I don't see how transparency will work into it....if it does work....it will be interesting.
