X-Men Danger Room Sessions Wolverine Fine Art Statue
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! We are proud to announce an all-new series of Fine Art Statues from the Marvel Comics Presents Kotobukiya Collection, the X-Men Danger Room Sessions! Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics’ mutant adventures, “X” teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room. Part of Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters (or “X-Mansion”), the subterranean Danger Room is equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film. First up in this new series is the most popular mutant of them all, WOLVERINE!
The classic mutant is in full berserker rage as he takes on everything the Danger Room can throw at him! With his wicked adamantium claws unsheathed and a feral snarl on his face, Wolverine is more than a match for any training program. The fantastic sculpt on the vicious mutant highlights his powerful muscles and classic uniform, which is further brought to life in vivid blue and yellow. And the best part? Wolverine comes with two unique heads so you can display the X-Man exactly as you prefer him - wearing his uniform cowl or bareheaded with his shaggy mane flying free!
Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Wolverine stands approximately 9 inches tall an amazing exclusive base. Every mutant in the Danger Room Sessions series is mounted on a unique Danger Room holographic environment with translucent parts that glow with a built-in LED light in the base! Don’t miss out on Wolverine and the entire Danger Room series.
Available in October.

I think what bothers me about this sculpt is the "gut" and chest area...it looks caved in.
I know exactly what you're talking about, I thought it looked strange at first, but it grew on me. I'm really liking what Sosa is doing. Once I get my RULK and see what quality is like... I think I'll end up getting most of what he puts out.

Yeah for me that's the deal breaker or I would be in for this piece for sure, I like the way his face has been done but his chest and leg muscles are just too lumpy for me. I find the more I look at Koto pieces they are just let down by one or two simple things that seem obvious to me, very annoying because apart from these simple things some of these Koto pieces would be really awesome.
hmmm...i haven't made the leap yet on the koto statues and this might not be the one to do it. so far, only thor is very high up the rank for must have statue. I just saw the deadpool sculpt as well, and I really thought I was gonna go insane seeing it, but not too impressed.
Honestly, the statue sculpts are great, but the base make them feel low quality. the ikea box that deadpool is stepping on as well as wolverine's deadwood with one leaf doesn't scream "Danger Room". I do love Eric's sculpts, but something's gotta be done with those bases.
Bring on the Brown costume with the sentinel base. Does anyone know when this will be up for order? I'll pass on the yellow one but will order the brown version when it comes out.
MMMMMMMM! His legs they are too fatt! But his expresion is nice!
Chest weird and legs look lumpy, short and strange. I just saw Psylocke and she looks AWESOME, so I was thinking, "I might be getting these" but then I saw this and ... no way. Sorry. Psylocke is BEAUTIFUL. I appreciate that Mr. Sosa is trying to do something different, but this is not for me.
Need to see this in person before I cash in, but it's looking like it will replace my old Bowen Wolverine FS (Phase 1)...This one is more dynamic and bad a$$!!!
The brown version is the one for me. The size is the only thing I´m not 100% sure about it. The sculpt is spot on, but is he in scale with other Bowen´s?
I actually think this is the best Wolverine sculpt yet. The claws, mask and expression differentiates itself from others. In other statues the claws are too skinny...I'm into the Hulk issue #340 blade style claws! The mask isn't over exaggerated like others and his expression just defines aggression! Love it! Have this on pre-order....can't wait!
