Default wolverine kotobukiya statue question

i've seen the protos and the wips of this one for quite a while now..i also saw the solicitations in previews..

then these two were revealed during SDCC 2010.

i'm really interested in getting the x-force wolverine one, the problem is something about the abdominal/chest area seems off to me..is it just me?

This is actually Sosa's style. He goes extreme on abs. Deadpool Bowen was mild, the hulks were medium but he went the distance on wolvie. I actually wasn't getting the yellow wolvie for the ab reason but when the brown and x force came out, I was sold. The darker colors makes you focus on the overall figure and not just the abs.

Oh crap, I didn't even notice the base. He is bringing some serious game with this line. O mean sentinel parts for bases is definitely the way to go. A complete danger room display with Jim lee inspired xmen will make for an incredible display. Way to go Eric!

I like the brown one to complement the rest of the statues in the series... sentinel base all the way!!!

I wonder when the brown and X-forrce versions will be out since the yellow version has already been solicited?

i dont think theres anything wrong eith the abs or chest just a different style. they are a little extreme for me but as always ill wait to see this piece in person before i make any decisions. i will say that the others in this line have blow me away. psylocke, colossus and sabretooth were all amazing. im still a little undecided on rouge and wolverine but this is my favorite era in the x men.

even though i have all the bowen im seriouslly consideriing adding these as well.
